We love browsing through local interior design firms websites looking for great ideas using local resources, as well as some inspiring pictures to brighten our day. Today we stumbled across the Arent and Pyke website and we were quite impressed by this family home that felt so uncluttered, breezy and fun. More images after the jump…

What we really liked was that as much as the rooms all flowed well together, each space is really its own thanks to the unique details. The boys room with the map wallpaper, the girls room with the tree and light up bird house, the lounge room with the stunning Aboriginal art and the garden with the occasional stripe painted step. Wasn't there a break down of the various rooms earlier in the post; e.g. the map manufacturer, shelf vendor, etc. What happened to that info?

bdog you can find many great stripes in Sunbrella fabrics. I rep a few fabric lines and took one of my vendors Sunbrella fabrics and made a comforter (had made) for my friend's kids room. It looks so great and add a zipper so you can take off and wash. Not really a duvet cover but a comforter cover, they use a blanket and flat sheet.
