If there's something we love to do every chance we get, it is to take a roadtrip. Anywhere. The allure of the road, with new sights and experiences, is as good as any faraway getaway for those of us with limited time and even more limited budgets. Give it to the Japanese to take RV-style roadtrip accommodations to another level, combining small space living with a transforming vehicle that mimics a miniature house instead of the traditional RV...
The Japanese Nostalgic Car blog gives us details about the Toyota Toyoace which was transformed over two years, four wheel accomodations that change literally into a house on wheels, complete with miniaturized kitchen, bathroom, living space and even a deck. All it takes is the push of a button to expand the truck out into it's transformed mode, with a beautiful second story Japanese style tatami sleeping space up top. Amazing.

That is beautiful. I want to live in it. The upstairs space is so lovely and I like how the cupboards are actually the stairs going upstairs.

Beautiful on the outside. Kind of ugly on the inside.
