I'm not sure about you, but ever since I joined Facebook, all these friends from the past have come out of the woodwork. It's kind of unnerving, actually. But every once in awhile, I do reconnect with a long lost friend. A prime example: My old buddy Nick Maggio whom I recently discovered authors his own blog, A Time To Get...
Nick's blog pays tribute to Southern California culture and history--everything from the simple, classic furniture pieces from Truck Furniture to celebrating the local pockets of Los Angeles. Interestingly enough, all of Nick's photos were shot with his iPhone camera...
Anyway, if you have some time to spare over the weekend, check out A Time To Get. Now I'm just hoping he'll let me do a house tour of his place--he's got a collection of Evil Knievel motorcycle helmets, guys!
This is why I do not do Facebook.

This actually seems like one of the few reasons TO facebook, finding little gems like this that you wouldn't have otherwise come across.

Yeah, what is that supposed to mean LoriSF?
It's a nice little blog written by an old friend...can't hate that.

meaning I do not need to reconnect with people from many years ago. Never said I hated the blog, thought it was quit nice.

I like this blog a lot. If you like this blog you would probably like this one www.myleshenry.blogspot.com
It's a similar style but focused more on interiors.
