We absolutely love recent ENSCI les Ateliers grad Aïssa Logerot's designs, many which serve multifunctional purposes: her XY chair converts into a low table for two or a game of Battleship, the madame est servie converts into a cheval mirror from an ironing board (iron, inspect, go!), and her Extensions furniture prototype can be configured into several different furniture pieces using slot-fit pieces and string to bind them altogether. For small space dwellers, multifunctional ideas like these are total eye candy...

Good ideas but the aesthetics need work. These are butt ugly.

ANd speaking of butts... not sure I want to work on or eat off something that's had intimate knowledge of others' butts.

The table sits way too low for me.

Ok so I'm sitting down and I need to put down my drink, or an apple, so I need a table. No problem, I'll just turn my chair into a table now I am standing and my table is too low and I wish I was sitting. Bad execution, Bad idea.

Come on guys, you sound like immature, jealous little preschoolers....didn't your parents teach you if you cannot say something nice, say nothing at all? What's with all the catty remarks...including the one about the photography??! That's not even the intention of the post. Grow up people.

Hey, let's see what the rest of you could come up with. I assume designing and creating even single-use furniture can be difficult, but duel- and triple-use designs as attractive as these?

The mirror ironing board is not bad. everything else is just bad ideas. it looks like, in the last several photos, that if you needed to configure a different set up that it would take up alot of work. Alot of work and convenient are opposites in my world.
