“Babyboy in the Cloud” Pillow Blanket Makes Us Sleepy

Thank goodness the weather is warming up to spring time temps here in LA. That means we'll hear less pleas from our significant other about her dire need for that infomercial-turned-pop-icon, the Snuggie (we much prefer the bear version if an all-encompassing blanket is what you want). But if she asked us for one of these pillow blankets, as created by designers Joon & Jung, we surely wouldn't argue; the 30 pillow stitched together look like a napper's delight and much easier to enjoy together...

As described by the designers, Joon & Jung: This pillow blanket is about embracing the “babyboy” color by catching the cloud, dreaming about the world and feeling comfort, safe, warm and snug. This idea started from the color that makes me feel small in negative way. Which is the one dark color in a big scale around me. From this experience, the idea proposed to challenge my fear, and I wanted to create a big personal space to surround me with the combination of colors that make me feel positive and comfort.
3m by 2.8m size pillow blanket. The pillows and the cover are separated so the cover can be washed after using for a while dreaming on it. playing with it. hiding under it. wrapping around it. jumping on it…and play more!

We think we've found a possible motive for stealing those near-useless small size travel pillows airlines hand out so you can position your neck in gosh-awful positions and never get comfortable with. Maybe en masse they offer some sort of comfort. Nobody is going to miss them anyway....just don't tattle on us.

Sorry to complain about the editorial we... this is the first time I have felt that need, but OUR significant other? I didn't know that polygamy was legal!

And to address the blanket... I don't see this being too practical, but I would totally buy one. I see this being fun in a nursery or with a big platform bed for lonely nights.

I totally agree (about the "we" thing). This has been constantly criticised on AT, at what point will the writers give in to their fans' demands?

Polygamy? You're presuming marriage. These folks are open.

I love it! Would be easy to reproduce with velcro strips and a bit of sewing.
