Build A Sesame Street Pinball Number Count Clock

071608_seasmestreet.jpgAnyone remember this old Sesame Street Pinball Number Counting animation? (If not, the video is after the jump). Then you may appreciate this crafty project over at Instructables that shows you how to make your own clock in the same vein as the Sesame Street segment. After looking through the steps, we'd probably rank this project in the mid-to-high range of difficulty; but if the end product looks this good, it might be worth a weekend...

This song still pops into my head regularly when I'm counting things and I'm in my mid 30's. Shows that little kids' brains are sponges!

That'd be the funkiest 2:43 of my day.

I thought it was cool then and I think it's cool now.

I'd like to have kids so that I can have an excuse to watch and play with more stuff like this.

I LOVE this song, but I thought it was on the Electric Company ...?

Ah ... nevermind. It's totally on the second box set of Sesame street. I'm so confused ... when I was younger (college-age, etc.) I always remembered it from Sesame Street, but ever since then I've seen it attributed to the Electric Company, so I thought my memory was wrong. So confused!

Wow, I started singing the song as soon as I saw the clock, heh. I think that was one of my favorite cartoons on Sesame Street. I always preferred the live action or stop-motion animation pieces more than the cartoons... except for this one.

This song is like a hot fudge sundae for my ears.
