I've often wondered how many times people have fallen smitten with people here on AT based upon their decor choices. We've actually received a few emails asking how to directly contact so-and-so profiled on an AT post. But since it's not our policy or place to play Cupid or disclose personal information, I might recommend you check out a website that is attempting to merge HGTV with a little bit of Chuck Woolery...

Casagogo is basically MySpace merged with a dating site (that might be redundant), where users not only post their relevant personal information, but also upload photos of their homes so others can determine whether their taste in home decor is compatible. Is decor compatibility really a big determinant for a healthy relationship?
I just wonder, that like any online dating site where people doctor their photos of themselves, what's to stop Joe or Jill Shmoe from passing on their drab digs for one showcased on AT? Hmmm, I wonder if I should just hire out my Photoshop services to transform bland interiors into showcase home tours.
But who knows, maybe your Prince/Princess is just a mouse click away, working on redecorating their guest room but looking for a helping hand. I'm surely not one to pooh-pooh the chances of meeting your true love online...I met my girlfriend of 6 years via my first blog and our compatible decor tastes definitely has made living together that much more enjoyable.
Hilarious! That brings back some memories.
I remember Chuck Woolery used to wear two watches (on the same wrist.) I never understood that.

Ok, I want to try this because it's hilarious and fascinating, but I'm pretty sure my girlie-girl apartment has all the guy-repelling ability of a filthy hovel full of cats and Precious Moments figurines.
I still might try it, though. For science.

Yet another way to make us girls smitten for gay men only to be disappointed! :)

There was a show with this kind of premise in Canada called, I think, Love By Design. The dater saw three datee's apartments and then chose one to redecorate (based on compatibility) and then go on a blind date. It was CHEEZY! and the redecoration was odd, no obvious budget cap and little input from the dater (there was a pro involved). It was a funny idea though.
