Close-Up: Home of Fernlund & Logan Architects

Anthony originally posted this over at our home tech site, Unplggd, but then realized this would be best suited for the AT sites...
110408_an_fernlund_logan.jpgWhile many of us may or may not be familiar with the New York-based architectual duo Fernlund & Logan, it's always nice to get a sneak peek into the lives of a creative pair. Filled with neutral tones and tons of mid-century pieces, it's a nice open office space that's a sight to behold.

110408_an_fernlund_logan2.jpgWe always loved the idea of having a huge wall dedicated towards work. Though the window view probably would be preferred, the natural light coming from the side would be more than enough to get us through the day.

110408_an_fernlund_logan4.jpgThe use of multiple frames in descending sizing makes for a visual point of interest we'd like to one day emulate, possibly with different shades of the same colour for the mat.

110408_an_fernlund_logan5.jpgModern and minimal, but not stark...the natural light against the warmth of the blond furniture and light adds up to a focal point that invites you to take a seat and enjoy the artwork.

A window view would be lovely, but if you have to look at your computer screen with a wall of natural light coming in, it actually puts a lot of strain on your eyes. Having your screen perpendicular to the natural light source is the best option.

Great cabinet/credenza/storage. Any chance we could get details about it's origin?
