We spotted this creative kitchen in the latest issue of Sköna Hem. This home was once a two-bedroom flat, but after the owners opened up the attic, it expanded vertically into a four bedroom apartment. In order to give the kitchen an illusion of depth, the back wall was painted a deep navy blue. We particularly love the look of the moulding on the doors and the pop of chartreuse yellow lamps hanging over the counter. Take a look at a few more photos of the this stylish home after the jump...

The stairs to the living room/den bother me a little. I can see someone coming home late one night or up early and not quite awake and falling off the side of the staircase into the void. Other than that I love the conversion and I LOVE the desk in the office.

Yes that desk is divine! And the kakelugn! (The tile fireplace on the right hand side of the first pic) One day my dream home will also have at least one of those beauties!
The TV in the kitchen however, is far from appealing and I would have gone for a funkier style with the charteuse lamps over the kitchen island/bar
