Built in the 60s, so I have cool lil retro detailing all about (thank goodness, back in style!). I love my shiny white enamel pendant dining room fixture. I had to talk my landlord into NOT changing it into a ceiling fan light (ick!).

My apartment building is only about a year old. It has crown molding at the ceiling and the walls came already painted a warm beige color. There are also nice wooden moldings on the window sills that make a wide shelf. Those touches make the apartment feel more cozy.

Once lived in a place that had high ceilings and tall thin windows with arched tops -- it was upstairs over a store built, I think, in Victorian times. I couldn't do them justice with my budget back then, but those windows and the hardwood floors were a really nice feature.
