DIY Accent Wall

dsc02924c-small.jpg
ATLA reader Eric Meeks, sent us the final results of his DIY wall decor project, which was launched by ATLA's advice to peruse the selection of wall coverings at Walnut Wallpaper on Beverly Blvd, where he found the Acco 20 design. But an $800 accent wall treatment seemed steep for both Eric and his girlfriend, so they set out to mimic the high end design finish with low cost techniques and high spirited gumption, resulting in an impressive facsimile of the inspiring design. A real spiffy job, you two! Follow the whole journey from bare to flair here, with some preview images below the cut.
