Natahsa tells us that her stand is held together with E-6000 craft adhesive (but any epoxy will do). Letting it dry thoroughly under heavy books, the stand is sturdy and eye catching. We love the elegance of the glass candle stick holders but you could also swap in tea cups or teeny vases. There are plenty of options for repurposing this cake stand but we'd put it to work holding jewelry in the bedroom. Additionally, a fancy entryway could make use of the stand's several tiers for keys, sunglasses and cell phones.

I love the idea of the catch-all for an entryway. Not to mention it's super cute just in general!

Ooh, I've tried using champagne glasses but never thought of candlesticks or vases. Here's my version: http://sassycrafter.blogspot.com/2007/10/tiered-tray.html
