Craftser.org's Olga has some serious moxie and DIY heart. She transformed her grandmother's beat up, old white dresser she salvaged after her dear grandmother's passing and set out to "find the dresser's inner life...[to] honor it and my grandma". A beautiful sentiment matched by the results of her hard work. Two coats of stains, three coats of oil based polyurethane, staining and nailing trim, and creating stunning starburst details made of hand sharpened wood skewers resulted in a dresser that lives up her promise and then some. Somewhere Olga's grandmother must be beaming with pride.

Awesome. I loved the design when I saw it and to read about how it was made was inspiring. Not my cup of tea but very nicely done!
