The Movie (in theatres July 18, 2008), IKEA is searching for twenty couples to get married, renew their vows or participate in a commitment ceremony at a Mamma Mia! The Movie-themed wedding IKEA Burbank on July 17, 2008. Titled the “IKEA ‘I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, Do’ Want to Get Married at the Mamma Mia! The Movie Wedding Event” Couples Search, interested couples can visit www.ikea-usa.com/weddingcouples between May 27 and June 10, 2008 and tell IKEA why they would like to participate in the wedding celebration.

For the 20 selected couples, IKEA will take care of the rest, including:

• Wedding/Reception: From the justice of the peace to the wedding cake, IKEA will have everything laid out in a Mamma Mia! The Movie-themed Swedish spread


• Gift: $500 IKEA gift card + other goodies (no need to register!)


• Mini-honeymoon: Trip to an exclusive, pre-screening of Mamma Mia! The Movie at Universal CityWalk (following the ceremony on July 17, 2008)

Hmm, maybe if they provide a plenty of Swedish meatballs and those Daim candies I love so much, Emily and I would consider (I jest). Are step-by-step instructions for a successful marriage included? You know there's gonna be that one piece missing though.
