When the dog bites, when the bee stings......when we're feeling sad, we simply turn on our TV and tune into Oprah. She's feel-good TV, OK? It's kind of like watching Love Actually, and sobbing over the part where the little boy is running in the airport and...so yeah, Oprah's unveiled her Favorite Things yesterday to a packed audience and in true fashion, gifted everyone with a huge goodie bag (report it on your taxes, people!).
Here Are a Few of Oprah's Favorite Things!
Despite the usual hubbub of "the most delectable body butter collection" and "most practical watches EVER," The Big O put some pretty nice things on her list for the kitchen and home.
Our favorites include the Melamine bowls, measuring cups, and spoons from Williams-Sonoma, the ever-classic Artisan Stand Mixer from KitchenAid, and the eco-friendly Shaklee Get Clean Starter Kit. Among the disappointing finalists to O's sacred list? Crochet UGG boots, a jersey turtleneck + sailor pant set that are searing our retinas with its ick factor, and the Josh Groban Noel CD. We're reserving judgement on the HDTV Refrigerator from LG until the Her Majesty Oprah sends one our way, but we will say that it sounds like this fridge can do everything short of babysitting your kids.

My favorite thing about O's Favorite Things is watching the audience FUH-REEK out when they find out what edition of the show they are attending. After that, the rest of the show is a let down. BTW, those turtleneck/pants combos? WHOA! Second funniest part of the show.
