We'd been meaning to do a full On the Set feature of the movie Hancock for some time now; but until that day comes, here's a little taste to whet your appetite: the kitchen!
We'd been meaning to do a full On the Set feature of the movie Hancock for some time now; but until that day comes, here's a little taste to whet your appetite: the kitchen!
The main color combination for the kitchen is a mix of yellow and various shades of light greens accented with bright, beautiful orange.
Mary Embrey, played by Charlize Theron, owns an enviable collection of green Le Creuset cookware which coordinates beautifully with the light beige and gold tile work above the counters. Also love the use of various chemistry glassware on the floating shelf as vases. The affordable bamboo blinds give this kitchen a casual, beachy look.
Accenting with bright colors can be as simple as a dishtowel, a set of napkins, or a collection of beautiful orange coffee mugs.

Not a big Will Smith fan, but sometimes... there's nothing on TV. Why does he always have the best kitchens in his films? "Hitch" = dream kitchen.

This kitchen would drive me crazy! There can't possibly be enough cabinet space to house all of the stuff that is strewn about on the counter tops.

I liked this movie a lot. And I notice Will Smith movies feature great design. The kitchen in the movie I Am Legend (omg I cried for an hour in the theater when the dog died, and I read the book, I knew it was coming!) was to die for.
I liked the design in this house as well, and it gets destroyed, that part is tough to watch :)

dearly, that's why all the stuff is strewn about on the counter top, not enough cabinet space!

When I saw this movie I noted the kitchen, the whole house really is beautiful.
