Just for the record, before you assume the worst for the kittens and of their owner: "I'm the one that posted this video and just to let everyone know, the kittens were 5 weeks old and would all sleep on the vacuum and eventually one would step on the button and make it start running. They did this constantly. None of the kittens got hurt in any way and I love my cats... thanks for the comments".
not cool.

Maybe it's because I'm such a cat-lover, but that made me cringe. For me, adult cat sitting on roomba by choice = cute and funny. Small kittens piled on roomba (and falling off of it, and subsequently being run into by it) for amusement of humans = depressing.

Pretty much a bummer.

I thought it was hilarious. and a good way to make cats way less freaked out by vacuums!

This is the comment on YouTube from the woman who posted the video:

so, there.

If the kittens were scared they would just run off. However, I don't think it's good to let them get used to moving machinery.

I own a roomba and two cats. I'm also a vegetarian and a supporter of Peta. I gotta say, I don't think these kitties were hurt by this. The roomba is a pretty gentle/harmless machine. The smallest resistance will make it turn around. The kitties didn't seem fazed. Just my two cents.

people, take a deep breath. those kittens definitely were not scared. they were not harmed, either. i find it quite amazing how this can get so many ... erm ... depressing comments.
i had my family kittens find sleeping (and play) places everywhere about the house - they actually did find a few dangerous spots, too, but they always managed extremely well. mother cats fortunately do not have the overprotectiveness a lot of humans seem to have.
i found it really funny - thank you for posting!

Love your cats? Then spay and neuter them. Let's see... 6 kittens. If each of them grow up and have 6 kittens, who grow up and have... And the video? Not funny. JMO.

Before the grammar police pounce, I know it's if each growS up.

I don't think the kittens were harmed, but we've all become too easily amused.

ugggghh, people... honestly... Stop with the false outrage. They were not run over by a steam roller. It was harmless. It was cute. I'd hate to think what delicate pieces of glass you all have as pets.

False outrage is the key phrase here.
