apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Living Downtown in 168 sq. ft.

ericammospecial05.jpgEric was one of our semi-finalists of the Apartment Therapy Smallest Coolest Apartment Contest, and now he's used his proficient sense of small space design to help his friend design a 168 sq. ft. studio, photographed for the recent issue of the Los Angeles Downtown News. Stylish micro-space living seems to be a trend making a westward migration from NYC to LA, but I wonder if it will really ever catch on here in a city where under 800 sq. ft. is often deemed "tiny".

It's in the first paragraph, click on "semi-finalists" in the first sentence.

ok, is it just me or has the site's new 'blogesque' format made following links happily dang near impossible? case in point - i wanted to check out the pics to eric's entry but got so fed up with trying to follow the right links to get to his entry in the contest that i just gave up. and this is not the first post where i've had to just give up in frustration. i really really miss the old AT site's format. it was so much more user-friendly! and less ad-heavy. *whimper*

I agree with the to previous entries! The new format is very impossible to navigate. I never get any cool slide shows are perspectives of any of the entries. and I used to refer to the archive section more easily as well. Please fix the site! Its frustrating!!!

Example articles posted with pictures should have a direct link to viewing the picture and slideshows. After each entry you shouldn't have to navigate so many links. Thanks......
