Using succulents mnerd filled up the 3 tiers in a simple way that looks modern and clean. Great for a small space, since you can plant up instead of out. Although they don't offer this system on the website, you can see all of Ikea garden pots here. Or check out our archives for our favorite garden containers.
So, is that an IKEA planter, then? Or is it IKEA pots hacked with a bathroom stand or something? A little more description, please.

Yeah, where can I get one???

amt230 and Zillah--those are IKEA planters. However, good luck finding them as they have "sold out" their summer collection.
Much to my horror, I missed out on Mynta pots. Ugh!

Yup, that would be my planter there! How weird to be on AT. To answer your questions, this is not a hack but a planter, which modtramp correctly noted, that Ikea was selling as part of their summer collection, and has since sold out. It came with the stand, and the 3 pots. I do wish they bring it back next summer because i regret not buying more!

I really want that. I am going to IKEA this week (horrors! but, I'm going first thing on a weekday) and will check to see if they somehow still have some.

Hmm, I looked at these because they're so cute, but the stand itself felt a little wiggly. Jose A, does yours seem sturdy enough?

You know, the stand was a concern of mine as well, but I figured that the pots themselves look nice enough that if the stand failed I would just used the pots to line a shelf I have in my patio. But, once the whole thing is put together, the stand doesn't seem like its going to fall apart under the weight.

Yes, I had been eying that planter for a few years at ikea but just never picked one up. Much to my dismay they no longer have them :(. Lesson learned - buy it when you see it!

The IKEA in College Park, MD had some of these (not sure if in this color--I only saw terra cotta and another color). Once I saw them, I didn't really want them for my place. Or maybe I was already too tired. But, they sure are a great idea.

Just to report: I stopped by Ikea Covina, CA, and they had 2 of the terra cotta version, which I did not pick up, mostly because I've had bad luck with unglazed ikea pots.
