i did the same thing recently on my veranda -- moving succulents from an old pot to a new, modern planter. You can see those here

Oh dear. I had beautiful, plump succulents until I put them out under direct sun for one day. The green color in some drained to yellow and some had leaves that burnt to brown! They are healing in the shade.
