Look! Anthropologie's Milo Sofa

033108_anthrochest.jpgAnthropologie's latest home catalogue came out and we've been drooling over this mint green Chesterfield sofa all weekend. In fact, we're pretty much in love with everything in this bohemian set up.

OK, well maybe not everything--we could do without the desk light strung around a coat hook. But we do love the casual details like the stack of books on the sofa, the graphic blue and white curtain, the 80's yellow phone, and the cactus under a bell jar.

The Milo Sofa is available at Anthropologie for $2,249.00

It is an absolutely beautiful sofa. Just an FYI, it's listed on their site as mist (not mint) green.

my favorite sofa shape - a better style investment than the ultra-modern sofas these days. people can say what they wish about anthropologie furniture price/quality, but boy do they know how to style a lovely and lived-in room!

I haven't sat on this sofa, but I do own the "ditte" sofa from anthropologie and I love it. It's comfy and pretty solid. I bought it on sale and wouldn't trade it for a fancy designer dwr model.

It's the drapes in this shot that are killing me! Although that sofa isn't bad either.

You're all in luck if you're ready to buy: Anthropologie's upholstery sale starts tomorrow - 25% off everything.

I have had my eye on that sofa for weeks. The AT price listed is the sale price. Crate & Barrel also has a more streamlined version for $1900 with much lower shipping costs here... http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=8110&f=25905

Terribly overpriced...and the parent company is run by a right wing nutjob! Perfect!

I am going to buy that sofa - I HAVE to . I've been wanting a Chesterfield and haven't found one here in Vegas at all...i'm not surprised...its a bit cheesy out here...and the furniture is a bit blah here as well!

Ikea has similar drapes in blue and white with floral/damask-like print on one side similar to the ones featured above and lined with fabric that has stripes on the other side. I hung these up for the winter as they were heavy and I wanted all the help I could get for our drafty windows. I love them! Didn't expect to like them as much as I did.

Funny...I can't get over the coffee table, which seems cheesy and impractical. Can you imagine all the dirt/spills that would collect in those wooden ridges?

Here is another version that Mitchell Gold Bob Williams did a few years back in a nice sea blue cotton. Their sofa is about 10" bigger and the foot detailing is better.

I love that mitchell gold sofa! Hey mskk, can you provide some documentation/background/website on the "parent company - right wing nutjob" info? I'm interested...

I love everything Anthropologie, even if it's out of my price range. I thought the sofa was comfortable and well proportioned but my husband didn't. I like tight upholstery though since I like to curl up in a ball at the end of the sofa, and he likes cushiony sofas he can sink into.
