The big news/discussion brewin' is about the redesign of the long standing architecture publication, Architectural Review. The new design hits stands this month with the April issue, the first redesign in 20 years. We like it...the look has an updated modern appeal that signifies the magazine is changing with its readership. But what we like more is the cover image and those great pink painted interior details. How amazing are those bookshelves surrounding the second doorway?

Whoah - AR's new title block looks like a throwback to 1976...
...all it needs are some shooting-star supergraphics and psychedelic colors.

There's an interesting juxtaposition between that title block and the interior graphic system within. I'll have to see how it works with their editorial content before praising or damning it.

Not all they need to redesign. I use to subscribe but after a time I realized the content was much to do about nothing and felt the writers knew nothing about architecture.
Maybe a new face will bring on better content or just another architectural magazine going vogue.

I dig the graphics. Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll pick one up.

The cover reminds me of the "For Like Ever" poster.
