BTW, the installation is called "Blue Side Up" and was created for the 9th International Istanbul Biennial by artist Servet Kocyigit.

Uh, no.

That's a lot of wasted space, aside from being creepy and ugly. And what if you have doors? You can't sweep in those rooms?

RJD... it's an art installation. It's not meant to be a real cleaning solution.

I think it's interesting, however terrible to see those gorgeous plaster ceilings destroyed.
