Look!: Bauhaus table lamp from CB2

White and shiny! There must be something in the water here at AT, because we've been bitten by the shiny glossy white bug! Janel over at AT:Chicago recently posted about her Torsby sideboard. She said she enjoys its super shiny white finish. We've been looking for a new bedside table lamp and had it narrowed down to two: the Bauhaus Table lamp from CB2, and the KULLA lamp from IKEA. Both are nice simple and modern. They also are shiny/glossy and have metal shades.

In the end, I liked the clean straight lines of the shade from the CB2, and it fits nicely with the rest of the bedroom! Do any of you have this lamp? So far so good on our end, but would love to hear any reviews from anyone else?

One of my favorite coworkers (a non-architect) thinks all designers love things that are shiny...

I was admiring this lamp last night...I like it...because it's shiny...

If you want "white & glossy", take a look at Sebastien Wrong`s, "Spun", for Italian masters, Flos, it is too cool for words.
