We were at the 3rd Annual Domino Bazaar last evening in Culver City (more on Monday) and we saw this tube of beadboard wallpaper by Wall Doctor from Graham & Brown. We've always loved the cozy and classic look of beadboard but have never found the time for this DIY. View Wall Doctor's easy solution after the jump.

We think this option from the Wall Doctor is a great renters solution. Not only is it inexpensive ($20/roll) it's easy to apply. Graham and Brown offers much more in the way of wall solutions for renters here. We also posted about Graham & Brown's Victorian wallpaper this summer as a solution to enhance your ceiling.

I have great walls, but I like the idea of a paint-able wall paper that has a nice texture, so I could do something dramatic but not permanent.
The product website says that all you have to do to remove it is "to remove, lift a bottom corner and peel steadily up." But it doesn't say if the paste that you put all over the wall to adhere this product comes off with the paper or if its now on the wall giving what was once just a painted wall a funky, thick or uneven texture.
Does anyone have experience taking this product off the wall?

Does it dent?

I used this to cover up some ugly panelling in a bedroom. It worked great, and looked even better after I painted it. I've never tried removing it though.

You don't use paste on the walls for this wallpaper. You just soak it in water and put in on the wall, it's self-pasting. I've used self-pasting wallpaper before and it came off quite easily, in nice big sheets. Can't speak for this brand though, it's still up.

I've had mine up for several years now and have never had a problem with denting.

I'm so happy this exists. I tried to do a faux paint job in my bathroom, but never completed it. Now that I'm participating in the Fall Cure, I can use this product to finish the bathroom! Thanks!

does anyone know if this could work over tile? I have yellowed, old subway tiles in my bathroom and this would look so much cleaner!

what about walls with texturing built in? my house has walls like this, but I hate it and would prefer to coverup, but have not been able to consider wallpaper b/c I dont' want to sand down the walls (the house is from the 1920's and I'm sure there's lead under the coats of paint). has anyone tried this?

This is a great product and I've used it on the ends of kitchen/bath cabinets, as well as one wall in a guestbath with chairrail. Worked like a charm in both areas, here's my blog post about it:

It really looks like the "real thing" and my friends are amazed when I tell them it's wallpaper. Great product for those, like me, who do not have the power tools to do the real thing & I love the real stuff too.
