Vânia Costa poured us a cup of "good idea" with her cute cactus in a teacup photo over at our Apartment Therapy LA Group Pool. We're also thinking tiny succulents would look stunning in Japanese tea cup or sake ceramics, so we'll be on the lookout next time we're at a Murukai Market and maybe follow Vânia's lead...

I have three teacups on my kitchen windowsill with pretty succulents in them. The cups are vintage Crown Lynn, which means they tend to chip a lot - these ones are chipped on the edges or bottom and a handle has broken off, but sitting on a saucer they're fine for little planters since the chips act as drainage.
