It looks like the work of David Wiseman, although the beautiful delicate flowers that sprout from his bronze branches are usually porcelain. We just know that we found it beautiful. It's making us rethink the ceiling in our own home, a space that's been sorely neglected in the art department. We'd love it our already girly and dramatic bedroom to push it over the top.

That's absolutely stunning... although dusting it wouldn't be at the top of my list!

Want!
Does anyone remember the episode of trading spaces when laurie put crystal apple blossom branches into split birch "trunks" she'd nailed to the wall behind the sofa?
It was a special episode where they had a MUCH larger budget. I think she also bought them a vacation.
I've always wanted an installation like that and have never seen the right stuff to make it, this is close.

I consider my ceiling to be a blank canvas with potential for an interesting installation like this. I'd prefer something more masculine, but this is quite beautiful.
In this room, it draws the eye up to give a sense of space and it balances the bold carpet very well.

Could this year's SKINA lights be used for something like that?

You can better see the individual flowers in the shorter chain:

Or in their little chandelier:

You might be able to wire in some of these too:

They used to have a tear drop shape, they are glass, not crystal. Maybe the green ones could be "leaves"?
