Look! Chicken Point Cabin

07_11chickenpt5.jpg There is just something that makes our hearts sing when it comes to large doors and gears, so when we saw the two combined for this home we did a little snoopy dance.

Chicken Point Cabin and was designed by Olson Sundgerg Kundig Allen Architects. The property which located in Northern Idaho, is far from what we had envisioned spudsville to be!

Project details say that the door is 30 feet by 20 feet and opens the living space to the forest and the lake. To keep the structure still like "a cabin feel" they kept materials simple, concrete block, concrete floors, plywood and steel. It doesn't list the square footage of the space but does say it sleeps 10. We don't know about you, but we don't recall any of the cabins we've stayed in to be as chic as this.
