Stucco walls are a common sight in many newer suburban Southern California homes. They nailed different width planks together to vertical stakes, placed it in front of the wall, painted them, and even added shelving with cut outs for pots! A great way to add some graphic color that is simple and even removable! (great for renters!) Has anyone ever done something like this?

If anyone is plannning on doing this type of detail remember to leave a space at the bottom of the "fence" to allow for sweeping out the voind between the fence and the stucco wall.
