Look: Danny Seo's Soapdish Keys Holder

073008doorwayashtray.jpgCheck out eco-living expert Danny Seo's DIY house and car keys holder: "I mounted a soap dish on the wall by the front door to hold my housekeys instead of soap. I am finding this little dish is a great way to make sure I don't misplace my keys again."

Maybe Danny can use this soap dish for spare change.

Cute idea if it doesn't look too much like a soapdish. Since a key can hang on a hook, most people tend toward the obvious rather than the excessively overthought, which this clearly is. A nice vintage or sculptural wall-mounted soapdish that doesn't recall too much bathroom-ness could be okay. I hate that thing you want to suggest putting spare change in.

I have a set of wooden dishes from a thrift store that corral keys, change and cell phones. Of course, they only work if you remember to use them. :)

Great idea...it doesn't look like a soapdish and is very practical.

not hot. Extraneous when a dish on a small table would work just as well.
