I love looking at shades of plum and purple, but I can't bring myself to decorate with it. It is appealing in others' homes, though.

Some of my favorite colors - That Sunflower Chandelier is pretty amazing too...

The afghan's crocheted, not knitted. (Sorry. Needleworkers' pet peeve sneaks up.) I've always liked granny squares and made a few catghans, but the ends always come loose in washing, unless you weave in ehhhhvery color in with a needle instead of just crocheting over the last round. Hard to keep them good-looking.

I have that shade in my living room... on throw pillows. The whole couch is a bit much for me.

luxurious color and you can accent with tons of brights in any style, casual to bollywood. cool to warm. pale blue to acid green.

I love plum this year. I'm accessorizing with plum. Looks great with mossy greens and black. Or blues as Lady J points out.

Have to have a neutral sofa though... beige dogs.

What's going on with the window shades?--I like the geometric shapes.

Anyone out there know where that chandelier comes from, I need to have it.
