Look! DIY Tufted Closet Doors

atla031908_0621112324.jpgHere's an interesting idea from DIY'er "nazinsky", who transformed a plain closet system with a new coat of paint, some trim detailing and applied tufted seat pads for some texture and colour. More before and after photos under the cut...

whoa. how did you do that?

where do I get tufted seat covers?

this could be the answer to my entry door decoration/sound dampening dilemma.

Hi ~ Great idea. Could you detail how this was done (ie how did you do the tufting, what materials, etc). I have a very similar closet system and have been toying with the idea of tufting after I saw something similar in a mag, but have no idea where to start. Thanks. D.
