Look!: Flipper Screen
Plus 2 Other Small Space Entertaining Solutions

120308small-03.jpgWe were catching up on our CNN website yesterday when we spotted a link to This Old House's Entertaining In Small Spaces. We quickly clicked on the link and picked out our favorite three furniture finds for entertaining in a small space...

120308small-03.jpgThe first, and most visually intriguing was the Flipper Screen from Space San Diego. They suggest that if you have overnight guests sleeping in the living room, give them a bit of privacy with this Flipper Screen. Because the 9 disks can open to let light in, they're also suitable as a place to put an alarm clock or a glass of water. If you decide to use the divider as home decor, the open slots can function as shelves to place decorative items.

120308small-01.jpgOur second fave was this Joker Ottoman, from Urban Mode. It can serve its purpose as a great looking ottoman or you can push it against the wall for seating or use it for its space saving purpose--a place to sleep.

120308small-02.jpgOur final choice out of the bunch are these great looking fold up chairs (a look hard to get from furniture that folds flat) from Stakmore.

I recently ordered a roll-up bamboo screen from www.gaiam.com. At $296.00 it is beautiful, natural and was a great room divider for visiting guests over the holidays. Good luck!
