We've been all about headboard ideas lately, so here's another to add to the list. Finding a unique folding screen on Craigslist is pretty easy, and we particularly like the repeated black outlines on each white section. It adds some personality to this cozy bedroom, and creates a new graphic pattern that echoes the wide yellow striped blanket.

I did this actually, so easy and looks so much better than no headboard at all.

I am in love with that wire basket! Anyone know of a good web resource for this, or something similar?

Want that headboard.
Kellylc - I would maybe look at antique fairs or the smaller antique/used furniture shops. Maybe bring in a photo to show them and they can call you if one comes in.

The calico corners in lancaster, pa has one on clearance for $115 minus 20% off (sale this week). they'd probably ship it. I think it had a tan velvet upholstery.

agreed, Kellylc, was thinking the same thing - anyone know any more about it - or, where this pic is from?

It's an egg basket from a farm. I know a dealer, but she's in upstate new york. There are pictures on my blog here:

it's the 3rd or 4th picture down.
I can email you her number if you're interested. Not sure if she'll ship or not...

Picture is from Cottage Living -- every month they do a comparison (funky, traditional, modern) of a room set up.
