This weekend we caught the closing of artist Klutch Stanaway's drawing and sculpture show at Pasadena gallery, Haus. And indeed, the aptly named gallery was a cute single family house converted into a gallery, just a few blocks from the Huntington Gardens...

We would have never guessed this was a gallery, except for the small logo sign outside.
Klutch's sculptures were a striking structural juxtaposition against the traditional interior.
Our favourite piece...we want to live inside it.

Check out more of Klutch's artwork here, and learn more about Haus Gallery here.
Those wood "sculptures" in the living room look like Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West chairs tipped over...

Maybe you just have to be there to appreciate it. Cause I'm not getting it.

The sculptures are definitely a "be there" thing...they've got this wonderful sense of discovery to their forms, with little niches you can peek into and architectural elements that almost seem functional. But hey, sometimes some people don't get/like certain types of art....it's all pretty subjective.
