Green is one of our favorite colors. Certain shades of green are really it for us. So when we saw the image on the right on cup o jo's blog, it immediately called to mind the bathroom at Modernica.

And after the awesome dictionary wall that Chicago posted yesterday, we couldn't resist another version of wall to wall graphics in a concentrated space.
We've heard rumblings that the bathroom on the right is actually Stephen Gambrell's Sag Harbor Home or that it could have been designed by Swedish Design Team Svenskt. Either way, we're ready to go flea marketting and dig up some botanical prints, scientific drawings of coral and mix them with some vintage paintings, and vintage white tile. All that along with determining the perfect shade of green.
Do you have to take any precautions to safeguard art hung in the bathroom?

We have a green bathroom, too—circa 1950s.

There are photos of our house's other vintage wallpaper as well. Our landlord is very opposed to change so we just live with it. But the rent is cheap and in a nice neighborhood so we don't mind.

Francesca, I believe if you're going to put paper on the walls, you'll want to seal them from taking on too much moisture. You can find info on regular collage sealer: mod podge here. Haven't ever used this on the wall, but if each piece was sealed before applying it the the wall it would certainly help!

I had that image on the right in my style tray for the cure! I love the contrast of organized chaos on top with a soothing, solid color as a base.

The green in my bathroom is almost ideal, with some colors it looks more gold, with some more green; it's Sherwin-Williams Shore #8115. The only thing is, it's no longer available. Luckily I have the can and so I have the formula for creating the color. But this leads me to a question--is there ANYWHERE online that I can plug in those kind of values and see the color? This could be very cool, if you could experiment with the values and have something really unique in the way of a paint color.

I love this, it's gorgeous. By the way, the print on the walls are pages from The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities, one of my favorite art books. I get so much inspiration from it.
If you're not feeling up the flea marketing, Barnes and Noble prints their own edition of this weighty tome... smaller than the original edition, but still an oversized book (at *least* 9x12) with tons of pages. It's on sale right now at just over $12, what a great deal...even to (dare I say it?) rip the pages out and paper the walls:
