I´m from Europe and I often see these round mirrors in american homes... It´s totally uncommon around here and I wonder, is it some sort of tradition? How did it happen that so many people have this? I don´t say whether I like it or not, I´m just curious...

It could be a little warmer if the furniture was brought together - it just all looks miles apart and a little uncomfortably so. The room with the 4 chairs is a little vignette-like (I think I've seen a room set up like that in a video game), it could be more personable with rearrangement. Same with the dining room. It's a great start. There are ways to travel on this path, if that's what aesthetic you're looking for. I'd add a sideboard, and table or floor lamps, as well as expand on the art, just get some more going in there. Different draperies. I really like the interesting archways.
