Look! Imegadito's Hideaway "Lazy Table"

1202008_table.jpgHere's something we could definitely use, like one of those old school elementary school desks that opens up to reveal a holding place for pens and pencils, this table would be perfect for us to stash away our work while we sit down to eat lunch:

For now the Lazy Table is just a prototype at Imagedito but we think more places should be thinking this way. Since our dining room table is also our desk we could definitely use the added compartment underneath to store things we aren't quite finished working on while creating some space on the table for a meal.

You can also convert an expandable dining table (i.e. with space for extra leaves inside) to a storage table if you take out the extra leaves and put in a solid bottom. Our IKEA Norden table has this type of storage area.
