An hour after we posted yesterday's Good Quotes, we got the new Pottery Barn catalogue...and we have to admit that we found a simple (and pretty, depending on your spare blanket) solution of where to keep an extra blanket handy once the weather begins to turn.

We usually keep an extra blanket folded at the end of the bed; so 99% of the time, it gets kicked off in the middle of the night when not in use. Since we just have a headboard and no footboard, the folded extra blanket could hang from our headboard. If you've got a canopy bed, this solution also has the potential to pack a visual punch: the blanket's design can double as artwork over your bed.

So, in the middle of the night, as the cold winds of Beverly Hills swoop down upon me, I can pull down the blanket that's been up there since August.
Don't think so, esp. as I don't have a canopy bed.
