Did anyone happen to catch the Rachel Ray show yesterday? They featured designer Kristan Cunningham's Southern California home. You may recognize her from HGTV's Design on a Dime. Now she's a regular on the Rachel Ray show, continuing to present DIY decor ideas. It's always interesting to see an interior designer's personal spaces, so we were curious to see if she employed any of her DIY tips in her own home...(more screen caps after the jump)...
Look! Kristan Cunningham's house tour on Rachel Ray Show
Her home is a mix of vintage and modern, and we especially loved what she did with her patio. She had a pretty typical wood pergola composed of many little wood slats. She removed the little slats and stretched some mesh outdoor fabric instead. We loved how clean the end result is, and she says provides much more shade than the previous incarnation.

Apparently she's no longer designing on a dime, since this is light years better than anything they used to hot glue together for their TV clients.

I have NO IDEA who this woman is (we don't do Rachel Ray in UK) but does she have to dress like a hobo? Trousers and dress and everything else in her wardrobe?
And the house is so overstyled.
