Look!: Montseta's Microwave Storage Solution

Our microwave is displayed on top of our fridge. Because we have a miniature fridge (which we despise) our microwave is at least accessible due to the fact that it's within reach. Because of this, we're always on the lookout for inspiring photos of alternative storage solutions (because our microwave is here to stay).

We love Montseta's open shelving in her laundry room for the microwave. She explains that her kitchen is teeny and the laundry room is in close proximity (making this a great solution for her space). In addition, she adds a basket underneath to contain bulky food and decorative baskets on top for out of the way storage. In addition, fun bold fabric wraps the utility sink for hidden storage. This is a great example on using every inch of a tiny space while making the area look clean and polished.

Yes, very tidy.

I like the microwaves that double as kitchen fan because they tuck right in above the stove and eliminate the need for a hood.

Finally a solution for a microwave that doesn't call for either hiding it in a low cabinet or up so high you are bound to wind up spilling something hot on someone...very nice.
