apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Look! More Reader Submitted Architecural Gingerbread Houses

121608gingercontainer.jpgWe just received three more fun gingerbread creations from readers like Kelsey Long, whose pre-fab container gingerbread house is shown above complete with solar panels, sod roof, and plank decks on the first and second floor with an open air middle room. The other two were an Eichler inspired edible home, alongside one unique gingerbread design we don't think we've ever seen before and has to be seen to be believed...

121608flowervase.jpgAT reader Krazykat's gingerbread creation forgoes architecture and delves into the world of actual decorative items: "For a different spin on gingerbread, check this out. My best ever...a gingerbread vase filled with Jacks flowers from Union Square Greenmarket."

Thanks for sharing your creative and fun spirit...keep them coming! And if you need instructions about how to make your own gingerbread house AT style, be sure to read Faith's Gingerbread Houses: The Apartment Therapy Versions post over at The Kitchn.
