Look! More Red Cushions

060208_red2.jpgYesterday, we blogged about the red cushioned patio in Baja, today we found another red cushioned patio. This time it's a bit more on the rust red side and instead of a lush tropical backdrop we have a more native California looking background:

This patio deck is made with a warm toned wood instead of concrete, but the fire pit in the middle echoes one of the elements we really liked about the Baja Patio. With the addition of the light blue to the rust red cushions (made with Sunbrella fabric), this version of using red for outdoor living is much more traditional, but just as inviting (maybe even more). We can't seem to get enough red for the outdoors!

Love that - I think Frank LLoyd Wright named that color "Cherokee Red"
