In Bocchignano, Italy, near Rome, a group of artists developed projects for 4 villages as part of a group work entitled "20 Eventi". More examples of this project, "Dispatchwork," and a link, after the jump...
We'd use this idea in our own homes as a fun way to temporarily patch a hole, a chipped corner wall, or to fill in the gaps around a built-in appliance.
