Look! New Use for Legos

atla-061108-lego01.jpgIn Bocchignano, Italy, near Rome, a group of artists developed projects for 4 villages as part of a group work entitled "20 Eventi". More examples of this project, "Dispatchwork," and a link, after the jump...

atla-061108-lego02.jpgWe'd use this idea in our own homes as a fun way to temporarily patch a hole, a chipped corner wall, or to fill in the gaps around a built-in appliance. Click here for more photos of this project and for information about the boxes of original drawings the participating artists have created that are being sold to raise money to support the projects.

Not enough is done with Legos. I'd love to see what kind of different furniture designers come up with using Legos. AP should host a contest.
