The Kitchn has posted their
10 Favorite Tea Towels before, while AT Chicago noted some wonderful
modern tea towels from a gallery show. We thought we'd choose our 6 six personal favourites to throw into the mix, all shown above with links below, since tea towels/kitchen towels are an affordable way to bring some colour and design into your kitchen...
What fun. Can you tell us where to get them?

These are great! [I'm a bit surprised that you didn't include anything by Skinny laMinx, whose work I love, although it's great to see some fresh talent!] For Cincinnatians, there is also the Cincinnati floursack towel.

I loved the Tikoli ones so much that I bought 4 of them... online. They are gorgeous and actually pretty large in person but not very absorbent. They barely dry wet hands and I even followed the detailed care instructions prior to use. Maybe I've been spoiled by TJ's Super Amazing Kitchen Cloths, but these seem to be pretty much for decorative use only.

hello- maja from tikoli here. so glad you like our towels! they do typically take several washes to achieve best absorbency, and will become more and more soft and absorbent over time. so please keep using them! :)
