We decided to take some of our own advice and started rearranging our patio garden yesterday only to discover this container all but forgotten, crouching way in the back.
Look! Our Forgotten Succulents
It's obvious how much we here at AT adore succulents and so my heart was a flutter when I realized that, all on its own, with no help from me, forgotten in the corner, this container garden has absolutely blossomed. It hasn't even been getting much sun, but somehow it's happier than all the rest of the plants out there.

Went out to my rooftop deck this past weekend (last time was in November!) and was surprised to find the lavender and orchids blooming and the succulents spilling over their little pots. All that rain certainly helped! Unfortunately, there were a couple causualties of the chill and rain we've had in So CA.

I have a few dusty millers that I planted a year ago in two wooden planter boxes and they have taken off over the past couple of cold months! Just enormous! Surprised me for sure.

I'm about to seed my impatiens and coleus! My mint is going strong, and my mandevilla and philodendrun. My two caladium(s?) died, and my hibiscus and asparagus fern are just hanging on.

My kalanchoes with the mini-rose look are about to bloom again--one year and I didn't kill them! Even the one that I thought looked dead came back. Thank you rain and sun!
