Look! "Our Mod Gingerbread House"

Looks like someone took an advanced course in gingerbread house designing! AT reader Liz, sent us this delicious photo of her modernist rendition of the holiday classic, based upon a plan she included below...

"I wanted to send a photo of the Mod Gingerbread House that we made over the weekend. When we set out to make a house, we were disappointed to see that there weren't too many moderns out there, so we designed our own!"

I love it but you should pipe on the window frames. I think it would look awesome like that (but it probably would've been easier to put them on before you constructed the thing).

Toronto's Ontario College of Art & Design recently held a gingerbread house contest for students; one of the winning entries was a riff on glass house with a fully furnished gingerbread living room; http://stylenorth.ca/blog/2008/12/gingerbread-college/
