You've seen the amazing stairs for the bibliophile on AT before. How about stairs for the designer who is dedicated to colour matching their home with the Pantone Color Matching System? The staircase is part of Tamotsu Yagi Design's San Fransisco studio,as shown in Dutch interior magazine ELLE Wonen.

This is awesome! I saw a multicoloured stair idea in Domino mag and fell in love with it.

Love this more than the stair made from books. I like that the colors are thoughtful (neither matchy-matchy nor fun-house brights), and love the idea more so for the pantone labels on the left.

Not a fan of this. I was initially excited several years back by the initial release of Pantone-branded fashion and travel accessories (and later the limited-run furniture pieces). I even owned and used the travel portfolio (in bamboo shoot green) until it fell apart... But this just seems like a cheesy DIY take on the whole Pantone thing. A little too cloying and cutesy for me.

I like the idea, but the labels are unneccessary. I know it's a ha-ha design thing, but it works by itself as well.
