Who says wallpaper has to be composed of a single design? Surely not Flickr user ninainvorm with her colourful patchwork of vintage wallpapers. It's a bold and brave decor idea not for everyone, but for those more colour shy, one could easily do something to similar effect using designs all within the same colour range for a more unified effect.

I'm thinking of doing a similar thing to cover the mirrors of a very large sliding door. I'll probably do it a little differently--with panels that can be moved around, but nice to know I'm not alone.
