"A house with Sole" was the headline for a feature in this weekend's OC Register. They showcased the home of skateboard-shoe mogul, Pierre Andre Senizergues. Senizergues is the owner of Sole Technology Inc., based in Lake Forest, that produce the popular skateboard shoe lines Etnies, éS, and Emerica, to name a few. His Newport Beach home, located on the Balboa Peninsula, features a mix of contemporary furniture and a lot of colorful mosaics and eclectic collections of skateboards, skateboard inspired accessories and artwork.

Besides the OCRegister's slideshow being painfully slow to load, this is a nice profile of some very tasteful and well decorated spaces. The jacuzzis are very nice, though a feature that most cannot afford. ;)

Very nice profile...a good reminder to try and do what YOU like and not just follow what others consider as cool/acceptable/hot/chic.
...but don't stray too far.

Really? Feels cold and unihabited to me...maybe it's the writer's constant reference that this is the 'primary home' that leaves me with the impression that ithis house is more about glitz than soul (sorry, sole)...

being from 'the O.C.' myself i think this is just a great example of a ubiquitous skater/surfer kid who grew up to do big things -- he did what HE liked in career, life AND home.
not my style of home but i like the 'realness' of it and the fact that he had many favorite rooms, tables, chairs..loungerooms..skateboards....
